Fake Lottery winning tickets from Safeco

Safeco Insurance Company (a member of the Liberty Mutual Group) has become aware of an increasing number of fraudulent letters claiming that the recipients have won a lottery. The letter is accompanied by an official-looking Safeco check. These are counterfeit checks and should NOT be deposited or cashed. The lottery letters often ask the recipient to call an international phone number and to submit personal and banking information.
