Oklahoma Tornadoes
Violent storms tore through Oklahoma Monday, killing five and injuring dozens, some critically. Sam Porter, Oklahoma disaster relief director, reported from Haiti, where he is currently serving, that Oklahoma Baptists are responding to the deadly tornadoes under the direction of Norman Wagner, incident commander. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management said more than 65,000 homes and businesses were without power. Southern Baptists are asked to pray for those affected.
