Solar power - I'm on the cutting edge now!
On a whim I bought a solar kit from Northern Tools - Ok it was on sale. It's a 40 watt unit. No - I don't think I will cause flags to raise at AEP but I wanted to see what it could do. Just got it in and looking forward to seeing the two 40 watts bulbs come to life. It can also charge a battery or recharge a cell phone - may be able to run the whole house - if i disconnect everything. Already bought an inverter after the last big ice storm a few years back.
So if you see a mushroom cloud in the middle of Meigs county you'll know I crossed wires.
